There’s one proper way the Giants can truly celebrate their ’86 champs

These loyal fans will be cheering the first of the four Giants Super Bowl championship teams at halftime against the Cardinals on Sunday.

John Harbaugh was 23 when the 1986 Giants smothered John Elway and the Broncos on that forever day for Phil Simms in Pasadena. None of Harbaugh’s players were born, of course.

Bill Parcells and Lawrence Taylor will be there, and Simms and Harry Carson and Mark Bavaro and Phil McConkey, among others, and it would be a disservice to all of the ’86 Giants if you do not defend MetLife Stadium the way they defended Giants Stadium every single game day.

So honor them by reminding them what home-field advantage looks and sounds and feels like, and what it means.
