Garrett Wilson’s availability for Sunday is in jeopardy.
The Jets’ No. 1 receiver was placed into the concussion protocol and is considered “day to day” after he reported symptoms Monday, head coach Aaron Glenn said.
Wilson was the victim of a helmet-to-helmet hit by the Raiders’ Jeremy Chinn on the third-to-last play of Sunday’s loss. He hung onto the ball for a 15-yard catch and Chinn was penalized for unnecessary roughness.

On the next snap, Chinn atoned by sealing the win with an interception.
Wilson was available to the media after the game, which would not have been the case had he immediately reported symptoms.
Wilson has played 88.4 percent of the offensive snaps this season. The Jets have had other pass-catchers step up with 100-yard games — wideout Omar Cooper Jr. and Adonai Mitchell and tight end Kenyon Sadiq — but not having Wilson would allow the Chiefs to play a more straight-up defense against the Jets.
This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
